1. Click "Create Reservation"
2. Select the appropriate pickup and return locations
3. Adjust the pickup or return date or times.
4. Or you can quickly change the return date by adjusting the duration field to set the number of days of rental.
5. The rates will update in real time as you adjust the various parameters. You can select the rate that is most applicable
6. Once a rate is selected you will see the price change will update to reflect how much more or less expensive a rate is to another rate. You will also be able to quickly tell the customer how much they would save in total by switching from a pay on arrival to a prepaid rate.
7. Once the rate is selected, click next in the bottom right.
8. You will then have the option to add coverages. Select one or multiple coverages and you will see the price on the right hand side of the screen update automatically.
9. After selecting the appropriate coverages, you will then click Next in the bottom right corner.
10. You will now enter the renters information with the primary driver being the person responsible for the vehicle. Click the plus button on the primary driver row to open the customer profile prompt.
11. In the window that opens you can search for an existing customer if they exist by their name or email.
12. You will be presented with a list of the matching customers if a customer is found. You can click on the existing customer name. If no customer is found you will need to enter the drivers details in each box with each field having an asterisk* being required. After entering a new customer manually that person will be saved for the next time they rent.
13. If a renter is providing their own coverage you can mark as "Has Preexisting coverage" and enter in the pertinent details if the insurance information is collected.
14. After filling in all pertinent information you will click "Save"
15. You can repeat this process for each additional driver by selecting the + icon in the Additional Driver row.
Prepaid vs Pay on Arrival Bookings
After adding the primary driver and additional drivers the next step is skipped if the reservation is pay on arrival and will be confirmed.
16. For prepaid reservations a form for entering the customers credit card information will be presented. After entering the card information and hitting "Book Reservation" the card will be charged and the reservation will be booked.
17. On the final page the confirmation number will be displayed as well as all other details. You can click the "Confirm" button in the bottom right to exit the reservation flow.
