Refund Existing Transaction

A refund can be either a partial refund or a full refund on an existing transaction. To perform a refund on an existing transaction, click the Refund button next to the payment.

Arbitrary Refund 

An arbitrary refund is not tied to an existing transaction; the money comes directly from the merchant's bank account. This is useful for refunding more money than what was initially captured. To perform an arbitrary refund, click the + button to add a payment and select Refund as the Transaction Type.
